🛳️Exploring the Cruise Ship

The ship has three levels of cabins. On 1F, one cabin lets you heal your team: make the most of it between rounds of battles. The cabins on B1F are occupied by Sailors (Machop, Tentacool, Shellder…) and those on 2F by Gentlemen and their Growlithe. The kitchen on 1F hides a Great Ball at the bottom of a trash can.

⚔️Blue on the Deck

On your way up to the Captain’s cabin, you run into Blue, who has come to enjoy the cruise too. His starter has evolved and his Kadabra is no longer a harmless Abra: it knows Confusion and Kinesis.

Our strategy

Kadabra is fragile: a good physical hit (Bite, Body Slam, Mega Punch) knocks it out quickly. Beware of Raticate and its Hyper Fang, which always hurts a lot. His starter, at Lv. 20, is by far the sturdiest member of the team.

🤢The Captain and HM01 Cut

In his cabin, the Captain is green with seasickness. Talk to him to rub his back: relieved, he gives you HM01 Cut. Thanks to the Cascade Badge, this move can now be used outside of battle to cut down the small bushes blocking some paths. Teach it to a secondary Pokémon (Bulbasaur, Oddish, Bellsprout, Farfetch’d, Paras…): in first-generation games, a move learned from an HM can never be forgotten.

Yellow

In Yellow, the ship has far fewer Trainers (four) and Blue fields Spearow, Rattata, Sandshrew and Eevee.
