Our strategy

Her Gengar, Haunter and Arbok are also Poison-type: Psychic and Ground attacks (Earthquake, Dig) are your best weapon. The ghosts abuse Hypnosis and Dream Eater: a sleeping Pokémon is an easy target, so keep Awakenings or Full Heals on hand. Golbat, for its part, fears Electric and Ice.

  5. DragoniteNo. 62DragonFlying

    • Hyper Beam
Our strategy

His Dragonair and his Dragonite fear only Ice and Dragon: Ice Beam or Blizzard (Lapras, Cloyster, Dewgong) knock them out very quickly, since Dragonite, like Gyarados, is also Flying-type. Gyarados and Aerodactyl also fear Electric. All of them know Hyper Beam, which is very powerful but forces them to recharge on the following turn: take advantage of that to heal or attack safely.

🏆The League Champion

With Lance defeated, one last door opens… onto Blue! Having arrived at the Indigo Plateau just before you, he beat the Elite Four and has just become Pokémon League Champion. He’s waiting for you for the toughest battle in the game.

    • Rage
    • Fire Spin
    • Slash
Our strategy

His team covers almost every type. Open with an Electric-type Pokémon against Pidgeot, then save your physical attacks for Alakazam, which is very frail. Rhydon fears Water and Grass (and can do nothing against a Flying-type Pokémon with its Ground attacks). His starter, at level 65, remains the biggest challenge: a Pokémon with the type advantage and a few Hyper Potions will make the difference.

Yellow

In Yellow, Blue’s final team depends on your first two battles against him: his Eevee becomes Vaporeon, Jolteon or Flareon. He also fields Sandslash, Alakazam, Exeggutor and, depending on the case, Cloyster, Magneton or Ninetales.
