North of Fuchsia City, the Safari Zone is a huge enclosure filled with rare Pokémon you can’t find anywhere else. There are no battles here: you catch Pokémon with Safari Balls, bait and rocks. It’s also where two essential moves are hidden.

🎫The Safari rules

For 500 ₽, you receive 30 Safari Balls and have 500 steps. When you run out of steps or balls, you’re escorted back to the entrance. In battle, you have four choices:

  1. Ball: throw a Safari Ball.
  2. Bait: the Pokémon is less likely to flee, but becomes harder to catch.
  3. Rock: the Pokémon becomes easier to catch, but is more likely to flee.
  4. Run: leave the battle.

🗺️The route

The park has four areas: the entrance (center), the east area, the north area and the west area. 500 steps are just enough to reach the west area if you don’t dawdle. Follow this route:

  1. From the entrance, head east (east area), then go up north.
  2. Cross the north area toward the west.
  3. In the west area, pick up the Gold Teeth along the way, then enter the secret house: a man gives you HM03 Surf for reaching the end of the park.

🦷The Gold Teeth and HM04 Strength

Back in Fuchsia City, return the Gold Teeth to the Safari Zone Warden, at his house in Fuchsia City. He lost his dentures and is very grateful: he gives you HM04 Strength, which lets you push big boulders thanks to the Rainbow Badge. A Rare Candy is also stuck behind a boulder, in his own house.
