Exp. Candies
Exp. Candies give experience points directly to a Pokémon. They let you bring a new recruit up to your team’s level in a matter of seconds.

Where to find them? Mostly in Tera Raid Battles (the XLs in 5★ and 6★ raids), but also in Pokédex milestone rewards and in some post-game rewards.
Gaining more experience
- The Exp. Share is always active: the whole team levels up.
- The Exp. Charm (The Teal Mask, a Festival of Masks mini-game) increases the experience gained.
- A sandwich with Exp. Point Power boosts experience for 30 minutes.
- Pokémon received in trades gain more experience.
Vitamins and Feathers
These items raise a stat’s EVs without having to battle. As a reminder: 252 EVs maximum per stat, 510 in total (see our stats guide).

In The Teal Mask, new items are added: Mochis, which also raise a stat’s EVs, and a special Mochi that resets all EVs to zero, ideal for retraining a Pokémon.
