The Caph Squad is Team Star’s Fighting branch. Its boss, Eri, is a professional wrestling athlete who trained every member of Team Star. She refuses to put her Grunts in danger and guards the entrance to her base herself.

Finding the base
The base is built on several levels in the mountains of North Province (Area Two), in northeastern Paldea, linked by bridges over a waterfall. At the entrance you run into Eri, then one of her Grunts, Rose, challenges you.

For the Star Barrage, put three Psychic, Flying or Fairy Pokémon at the front of your team. Ghost-type Pokémon are unaffected by Fighting attacks.

- Toxicroak (Poison/Fighting) is ×4 weak to Psychic.
- Lucario (Fighting/Steel) is the exception: Psychic, Flying and Fairy only deal normal damage to it. Target it with Fire, Ground or Fighting.
- Passimian has the Receiver Ability: it copies the Ability of a fainted ally.
- Annihilape (Fighting/Ghost) uses Rage Fist, which gains power every time it is hit. It is immune to Normal and Fighting attacks.
- The Caph Starmobile (Fighting) strikes with Combat Torque and High Horsepower.

Rewards
Eri gives you the Fighting Badge and TM167 Close Combat, one of the most powerful Fighting moves in the game. Overwhelmed by her defeat, she runs off in tears; Rose then tells you that she was behind the bullying of Eri… and that it was Eri who invited her to join Team Star.
Starfall Street: the final battle
With the five squads disbanded, Cassiopeia asks you to meet her at night, in the Academy courtyard. Two back-to-back battles await you there. Aim for level 63.
First battle: Director Clavell
In front of the Academy, Clive is waiting for you. He takes off his wig: it is Director Clavell! He claims to be Cassiopeia and challenges you. Like Nemona, he uses the starter that has the advantage over yours.

Once defeated, he admits he lied: he wanted to check that you were ready to face the real Cassiopeia, whose identity he had guessed.
Second battle: Cassiopeia
Who is Cassiopeia? (click to reveal)
Cassiopeia, Team Star’s “Big Boss”, is Penny, your shy classmate, the one you saved on the first day. She was the one who founded Team Star to protect her bullied friends, then took sole responsibility for the Star Operation. She orchestrated Starfall Street by using you to push Team Star to disband… and she hacked the League’s system to give you League Points.

Her team is made up of six Eevee evolutions, all with Baby-Doll Eyes (which lowers your Attack with priority) and Quick Attack. You therefore need a versatile team: a Ground-type Pokémon for Jolteon, a Water or Rock-type for Flareon, a Fire-type for Leafeon, an Electric or Grass-type for Vaporeon, a Fighting or Bug-type for Umbreon. Sylveon, her last, Terastallizes into Fairy: bring out Steel or Poison.
The end of the Team Star story
Clavell gathers the five bosses, who finally meet their leader. He apologizes on behalf of the Academy and cancels their expulsion. In return, their bases become Star Training Centers for students. You can start Star Barrages there again and battle the bosses once more, once a day. Penny, for her part, is recruited by the Pokémon League for her computer skills.
What’s next? If Victory Road and Path of Legends are complete, the final storyline opens up: The Way Home.
