When you arrive at the Academy, you save Penny from two Grunts of Team Star. Soon after, a mysterious Cassiopeia calls you: she asks you to dismantle the five squads of this gang of students who skip class. The first, the Segin Squad, is led by Giacomo, a Dark-type specialist.

How a Team Star base works

All five bases follow the same pattern, in three stages:

  1. The entrance: beat the Grunt guarding the door (or the event specific to each base).
  2. The Star Barrage: you have 10 minutes to knock out 30 Pokémon from the squad, using the automatic “Let’s Go!” battle (R button) with the first three Pokémon on your team. You move around the camp to send them into battle.
  3. The boss: once the 30 Pokémon are defeated, the boss arrives on their Starmobile, a giant customized Revavroom. Beat their Pokémon, then the Starmobile itself.

Finding the base

The Segin Squad’s base is at the bottom of a valley in West Province (Area One), between Cortondo and Cascarrafa. On site, a blond student with a banana-shaped hairstyle, Clive, joins you: he also wants to bring the Team Star members back to the Academy.

Automatic calculation based on the team above: number of Pokémon hit super effectively (the Pokémon that Terastallizes is counted with its Tera type, immunity Abilities included).

  • Pawniard (Dark/Steel) is ×4 weak to Fighting, as well as to Fire and Ground.
  • The Segin Starmobile (Dark) has the Intimidate Ability: it lowers your Attack as soon as it arrives. It is weak to Fighting, Bug and Fairy.

Fighting is the perfect weapon: it hits both super effectively. Avoid Psychic Pokémon, since Dark types are immune to them.
