Artazon is an artists’ town, east of Mesagoza, with half-timbered houses inspired by the Basque Country and a big windmill. Its Gym Leader, Brassius, is an avant-garde artist who lives his art through Grass-type Pokémon.

Getting to Artazon

Leave Mesagoza through the east gate. Artazon is surrounded by East Province (Area One). If you have just beaten the Stony Cliff Titan in South Province (Area Three), you are already very close.

The Test: Gathering the Sunflora

The local ritual is to find ten Sunflora hidden around town, the Pokémon that symbolizes sun and nature for Artazon’s artists.

Sunflora Square, where you bring back the ten Pokémon.
  1. The test begins in Sunflora Square, east of the Gym.
  2. Explore the town: most Sunflora are easy to spot, but the town is full of trompe-l’œil statues in their likeness. The real ones move slightly.
  3. Each Sunflora you find follows you. Two of them (level 14) trigger a battle before joining you.
  4. With ten Sunflora, return to the square, then to the Gym reception.

Automatic calculation based on the team above: number of Pokémon hit super effectively (the Pokémon that Terastallizes is counted with its Tera type, immunity Abilities included).

Our Strategy

  • Petilil can put you to sleep with Sleep Powder. Bring Awakenings, or a Grass Pokémon, which is immune to powder moves.
  • Smoliv (Grass/Normal) is fragile. A Fire, Flying or Bug move is enough.
  • Sudowoodo is the trap of this battle. It is a Rock Pokémon that disguises itself as a tree… and Terastallizes into Grass. Water and Ground moves, ideal against Rock, then become not very effective. Its ability Sturdy also lets it survive a move that would otherwise KO it in one hit if it is at full HP.

Fire, Flying, Bug, Ice and Poison types hit all three Pokémon once Sudowoodo has Terastallized. Avoid Water, Ground and Grass moves.
