Medali is a restaurant town at the foot of Glaseado Mountain, in West Province (Area Three). Hikers stop here before climbing to the peaks. Its Gym Leader, Larry, is a slightly weary Pokémon League employee who juggles several jobs: Gym Leader here… and Elite Four member.

The Test: Ordering the Secret Dish
The test takes place at the Treasure Eatery, the town’s best restaurant: you have to order the secret dish on the menu. To do so, collect the clues from three other candidates by defeating them, in addition to the one you are given at the start.

The four clues and the right order (click to reveal)
- “The odd one out at the ice cream stand” (Cécile, across from the restaurant): the neighboring ice cream vendor sells grilled rice balls.
- “The cry of the blue bird Pokémon” (Jules, in front of the Conservatory): a blue Squawkabilly cries “Pourdeu!”, which is… for two.
- “The darkness surrounded by stairs” (Audrey, between the Gym and the amphitheater): under the amphitheater stairs, a grate bears the word Fire Blast.
- “How regulars enjoy their dish” (your clue): the bar regular, who is none other than Larry, recommends lemon.
The order: grilled rice balls for two, well done, Fire Blast style, with lemon.

Automatic calculation based on the team above: number of Pokémon hit super effectively (the Pokémon that Terastallizes is counted with its Tera type, immunity Abilities included).
Our Strategy
- Komala has the ability Comatose: it is always considered asleep, and so is immune to other status conditions. It uses Yawn, which puts your Pokémon to sleep on the following turn: switch Pokémon to cancel the effect.
- Dudunsparce can paralyze with Glare and strikes with Drill Run, a Ground move.
- Staraptor (Normal/Flying) Terastallizes into Normal and launches Facade with the Tera bonus. Facade doubles in power if its user is poisoned, burned or paralyzed: above all, do not inflict a status condition on Staraptor. Its Intimidate also lowers your Attack when it enters.
The Fighting type is king: it hits all three Pokémon super effectively (Staraptor once Terastallized). Ghost Pokémon are immune to all their Normal moves, including Facade and Hyper Drill: an excellent shield.
