Levincia is the most modern city in Paldea, on the east coast, inspired by Valencia and its futuristic architecture. Its Gym Leader, Iono, is a star streamer whose show, “Iono’s Gadgets,” is followed around the world.

Getting to Levincia
The city is bordered to the south by East Province (Area Two) and to the north by East Province (Area Three). From Artazon, head northeast across East Province (Area Two).
The Test: Live Hide-and-Seek
For the test, you take part in Iono’s show: “City Hide-and-Seek with Mr. Ducoin.” Mr. Ducoin is… Director Clavell, recruited off the street. With a magnifying glass, you have to spot him three times on the city’s security camera footage.

Mr. Ducoin's three hiding spots (click to reveal)
- The main street, next to the Gym: he is sitting behind a parasol, on the right of the image.
- The Pokémon Center in the north of the city: he is hiding on the left, behind the counter, in the nurse’s place.
- The Gym’s battle court: he is on the right of the image, down below, on a boat in the harbor.
Between two images, Iono has you battle one of her fans.

Automatic calculation based on the team above: number of Pokémon hit super effectively (the Pokémon that Terastallizes is counted with its Tera type, immunity Abilities included).
Our Strategy: Ground Isn’t Enough
The classic reflex against Electric is the Ground type: it is immune to Electric moves and hits them super effectively. But Iono saw that coming:
- Wattrel is also Flying type: it is immune to Ground. Target it with Rock or Ice.
- Bellibolt knows Water Gun, a Water move that is super effective against your Ground Pokémon.
- Luxio lowers your Attack as soon as it enters, thanks to Intimidate.
- Mismagius is a Ghost Pokémon that Terastallizes into Electric. The problem: its ability Levitate makes it immune to Ground moves. Once Terastallized, it therefore has no weakness left. It uses Charge Beam, which can raise its Special Attack, and Confuse Ray to confuse you.
The plan: a Ground Pokémon for Bellibolt and Luxio, a Rock or Ice Pokémon for Wattrel, and against Mismagius, your most powerful moves, whatever their type — ideally delivered by a Grass, Dragon or Ground Pokémon, which resists or doesn’t fear Electric.

Iono gives you the Electric Badge and TM048 Volt Switch, an Electric move that lets the user return to your party after striking.
