The end credits are only a stage. Paldea still has plenty of challenges, legendary Pokémon and rewards in store. Here is the list of everything left to do, in a logical order. Tick “Completed” in the banner at the top of this page once you’ve finished the list!

1. Inspect the Gyms and win the Academy Ace Tournament

Geeta asks you to face the eight Gym Leaders again, who this time battle at level 65-66. Afterwards, sign up for the Academy Ace Tournament. Its first victory unlocks 6★ raids. Everything is detailed in our tournament guide.

2. Challenge Team Star again

The old bases have become Star Training Centers. Once per (in-game) day, you can battle each boss at level 65-66 and without their Starmobile. By ringing the bell at the entrance, you can also restart a training session: 50 Pokémon to knock out within the time limit, with League Points up for grabs, more of them the faster you are.

3. Free the Treasures of Ruin

Four legendary Pokémon, the Treasures of Ruin, are sealed away in shrines across Paldea. Each is held by eight stakes of the same color, hidden in the surrounding area. Pull out all eight stakes to open the shrine, then face the legendary Pokémon (level 60).

4. Explore Area Zero and catch the Paradox Pokémon

Go back to Area Zero: all the Paradox Pokémon of your version now live there in the wild. You can also catch the second Koraidon / Miraidon there, the one you faced at the end of the story. The defeated Titan Pokémon can also be caught at their original location (only Tatsugiri for the False Dragon Titan), with the “former Titan” mark.

5. 5★ and 6★ Tera Raid Battles

The hardest raids give the best rewards: Exp. Candy XL, Bottle Caps, Tera Shards, Herba Mystica (for sandwiches that boost your shiny chances)… See our raid guide.

6. Complete the Pokédex

Professor Jacq rewards you at each milestone, up to the Shiny Charm for the complete Pokédex. See our Pokédex guide.

7. Collect Gimmighoul Coins

999 Gimmighoul Coins let you evolve Gimmighoul into Gholdengo. See our Gimmighoul guide.

8. Head off to the expansions

The Teal Mask can be started as soon as the Treasure Hunt begins; The Indigo Disk requires you to have finished the main story and the first part. See our expansion walkthrough.

Mistakes to avoid

  • Releasing a Pokémon with bad IVs: an imperfect Pokémon can be fixed with Hyper Training (Bottle Caps) and Mints (Nature).
  • Selling your Herba Mystica: they are used for the most valuable sandwiches.
  • Spending your Tera Shards at random: you need 50 to change a Tera Type.
  • Forgetting to recharge the Tera Orb before an important battle (Pokémon Center or Terastal crystal).
