Pokémon stored in your PC no longer get bored: they head off on vacation to the Poké Pelago, a small archipelago where they gather Berries, explore caves and train while you play. It is all run by a quiet man named Mohn.

🏝️How to get there

The Poké Pelago opens up after the second Akala Island Trial, Kiawe’s at Wela Volcano Park. A new icon appears on the touch screen, and a short cutscene takes you there on Charizard’s back. Time in the Poké Pelago follows the console’s clock, not your play time: activities keep progressing even while the console is off.

🌴The five isles

The Relax Isle

The first isle, available from the start. Shake its Bean tree to collect Poké Beans, and a Bean crate sometimes attracts wild Pokémon that can join your PC.

The Berry Isle

The vegetable garden: your Pokémon grow Berries there, which you simply plant and harvest.

The Exploration Isle

Your Pokémon explore a cave and bring back items: evolution stones, Gems and rare items.

The Training Isle

The training ground: your Pokémon gain experience and effort points in the stat of your choice.

The Hot Springs Isle

The hot springs: they strengthen friendship and make Eggs left there hatch faster.

🫘Poké Beans

  • They are the currency of the Poké Pelago: you drop them into crates to speed up activities, and spend them to expand the isles.
  • Each isle can be expanded three times, to host more Pokémon and offer better rewards.
  • They are also used in Poké Refresh, to feed your Pokémon and earn their affection.
  • They can be traded, and you can send some to other players in a message in a bottle.
