🎈Hapu and the Drifloon

Heading down the route, you come across a strange scene: a young girl in a straw hat, Hapu, steps between two Team Skull Grunts and a Drifloon they are trying to steal. Beat the Grunt who challenges you, with his Drowzee. Hapu escorts the Drifloon back to its Trainer, in the Thrifty Megamart, and takes her leave. You will see her again.

🏟️The Battle Royal Dome

Royal Avenue is organized around a large circular plaza. To the north, the Thrifty Megamart sells a bit of everything; the Drifloon you saved gives you a Lemonade there. Further up stands the Battle Royal Dome.

Gladion enters the Dome: follow him. You are now in a Battle Royal: four Trainers, every one for themselves, on a square field. Your opponents: Gladion, Hau and a masked wrestler, the Masked Royal, whose identity is hardly in doubt. The battle ends as soon as a Pokémon is knocked out.

In the stands, Kiawe, the Fire-type Captain, has followed your performance. He invites you to join him at Wela Volcano Park, reached via Route 7, next to the Thrifty Megamart.
