💃The three dances

Go through the Trial gate, right at the volcano’s entrance, and talk to Kiawe. He performs a dance with his Pokémon, then a second one: it’s up to you to say what changed. Each right answer triggers a battle.

  1. First dance: it’s the Alolan Marowak in the middle that makes a different move. Point it out: it attacks you, at level 18.
  2. Second dance: a Hiker has slipped in among the dancers. Point him out: his Magmar attacks you, at level 19.
  3. Third dance: nothing changes among the dancers… except for the gigantic shadow that has appeared behind them. Whatever your answer, the Totem Pokémon appears.

🦎Totem Salazzle

  • SalazzleNo. 22PoisonFire

Totem Salazzle, Poison and Fire. Aura: Sp. Def +1. It holds a Petaya Berry and calls Salandit (level 20) as allies.

Kiawe gives you the Firium Z and ten Quick Balls. Above all, he registers Charizard in your Ride Pager: Charizard Glide takes you instantly to any place you have already visited. Show the Firium Z to the Trial guide on Route 7: he clears the path to Route 8.

🏝️The Poké Pelago

This second Akala Trial also opens access to the Poké Pelago, a vacation archipelago for the Pokémon stored in your PC, run by a certain Mohn. There they gather Berries, explore caves and train while you play. See our Poké Pelago guide.

Next step: Route 8 and Lush Jungle.
