Sun and Moon are known for their long dialogue scenes: you can’t skip them, but everything else can be optimized. Here are the route and the choices that let you wrap up the adventure much faster, whether you are aiming for a true speedrun or just a quick playthrough.
The principle: one very strong main Pokémon and one or two support Pokémon, battles avoided whenever possible, and Z-Moves saved for the fights that matter. Keep the Exp. Share on to keep the main Pokémon leveled without needless battles.
Set the text speed to fast in the options and turn off battle animations: it is the simplest time saver in the whole game.
