The Ultra Beasts are level 55 to 70, tough and powerful: a failed capture can cost you around ten Beast Balls. Here is the general method, then a profile for each of the seven creatures in Sun and Moon.
Their catch rate is the same as Solgaleo’s and Lunala’s: average, far from the guardian deities. With a Beast Ball, whose effectiveness is greatly increased against them, and a weakened Pokémon that is paralyzed or asleep, the capture takes only a few throws.
Other Balls, with the exception of the Master Ball, are almost useless: their effectiveness is greatly reduced against Ultra Beasts. Looker gives you ten Beast Balls on each mission, and gives you more if you run out.
