After the Contests of Hoenn and the Super Contests of Sinnoh, Unova invents the Pokémon Musical. At the Nimbasa City Musical Theater, you dress your Pokémon in Props and make it dance on stage in front of an audience. Legend has it that in the old days only humans took to the stage, until the day a Pokémon walked on by itself.

🎭Before taking the stage

On your first visit to the Musical Theater, in the north-east of Nimbasa City, the director gives you the Prop Case, which stores your Pokémon’s accessories. A young lady near the reception hands you TM49 Echoed Voice.

👗Dressing up

Every show begins with dressing up. You place Props on your Pokémon: each belongs to a category (Cool, Cute, Unique or Elegant) and is worn on a specific part of the body. A Prop held in the hand can be waved during the show.

🎶The show

Your Pokémon walks on stage with other participants and starts to dance. Your only role: wave the Prop it is holding, at the right moment, to catch the audience’s attention. The rest of the show plays out by itself. At the end, the participants are ranked by the audience’s enthusiasm.

  • Four categories of shows: Cool, Cute, Unique and Elegant, each with its own audience.
  • Four shows are available from the start; others were unlocked through the Pokémon Global Link, with only one able to be stored at a time.
  • New Props are obtained over the course of shows and encounters.
