Nacrene City is Unova’s artistic capital: old warehouses more than a century old have become artists’ studios. Its museum houses an immense Dragonite skeleton and, hidden behind its library, the Gym of Lenora, its curator. N is already waiting for you there.

🎨The city of artists
When you arrive, Cheren gives you 3 Chesto Berries, which cure paralysis. Then take a tour of the city:
- in the westernmost house, a girl asks for your starter Pokémon and gives the item that strengthens its type: Miracle Seed for Snivy, Charcoal for Tepig, Mystic Water for Oshawott;
- in the house east of the Pokémon Center, a little girl offers a trade: her Petilil for a Cottonee in Black, her Cottonee for a Petilil in White. A simple way to get the other version’s exclusive Pokémon;
- the Café Warehouse gives a Soda Pop every Wednesday;
- at the museum, the scientist at the right-hand counter revives your fossils at level 25.

🧩N in front of the Gym
N is waiting for you in front of the museum. He wants to know what kind of life your Pokémon lead in their Poké Balls, then reveals the name of the legendary Pokémon whose power he intends to win. This time, he fields three Pokémon captured along the way.

Pidove is weak to Electric, Ice and Rock. Tympole is weak to Grass and Electric. Timburr, a Fighting type, is weak to Flying and Psychic: a Pidove or a Munna takes it out quickly.
📚The library puzzle
Hawes, Lenora’s husband and the museum guide, shows you around the collections. At the back of the building, the library is actually the Gym. To reach the Gym Leader, you have to solve a puzzle hidden in the books: generally, a trainer keeps the book that gives the next clue. Read the books you are pointed to, beat the trainers, and the path to Lenora eventually opens.

Beware of Retaliate: the power of this move doubles if a Pokémon on her team was knocked out the previous turn. After you beat Herdier, expect a very strong hit from Watchog.
Watchog is the real danger: Hypnosis puts your Pokémon to sleep and Crunch hits hard. Bring an Awakening against sleep.
Fighting Pokémon are your best allies: Pignite (Tepig evolves at level 17), a Timburr or a Sawk or Throh captured in the outer part of Pinwheel Forest, reached through a hole in the fence west of the city.
Lenora gives you the Basic Badge and TM67 Retaliate. On the way out, Bianca gives you the Dowsing Machine, which detects hidden items: activate it from the touch screen.
🦴The theft of the Dragon Skull
No sooner is the Badge in your pocket than the alarm is raised: Team Plasma has stolen the Dragon Skull, a precious fossil from the museum. The thieves fled west, into Pinwheel Forest. Lenora gives chase, and you with her.
