Elesa is both a model and a Gym Leader. Her Gym, set up in the amusement park, is an immense room plunged into night and crisscrossed by illuminated roller coasters. To reach her, you have to pick the right switches.

🎢The roller coasters

The Gym Guide gives you a Fresh Water at the entrance. The Gym is one single giant room run through with rails. Get into the cars to move around, and flip the switches to change tracks: there is usually one near each Trainer. Two Trainers are hiding in the last cars. The final ride, toward Elesa, ends with a big loop.

Our strategy

The two Emolga (Level 25) are Electric and Flying: Ground-type attacks cannot hit them. Aim at them with Rock or Ice. They use Volt Switch, which hits and then recalls the Pokémon: Elesa therefore rotates her team.
Zebstrika (Level 27), faster than most of your Pokémon, strikes with Spark and Flame Charge, which raises its Speed. It fears Ground.
Your best card: a Sandile from Route 4. Ground and Dark, it is immune to Electric and knocks out Zebstrika with Mud-Slap. Against the Emolga, a Roggenrola or a Boldore (it evolves at Level 25) takes hits well and hits hard with its Rock attacks. Avoid sending out your Water or Flying Pokémon.

Elesa hands you the Bolt Badge and TM72 Volt Switch, the move that hits and then lets you switch Pokémon: formidable in strategic battles.

Next step: Route 5 and the Driftveil Drawbridge.
