The Dragonspiral Tower is the oldest building in Unova. Legend has it that the two dragons of Unova were sealed there. Team Plasma has invaded it: N wants to awaken the dragon that will make him a hero.

🐉At the foot of the tower

In front of the entrance, Cedric Juniper and Bianca explain the situation and the legend of the tower. Bianca stays with the Professor to protect him, and Cedric gives you an Old Gateau, which cures all status conditions, before sending you to the summit.

Around the tower, the grass is home to the season’s Deerling and Sawsbuck, and in winter to Beartic and Vanillish. Also look for Mienfoo, a very fast Fighting type that will become Mienshao: it lives on the tower’s ground floor all year round.

🗼The ascent

The tower has six floors. Team Plasma Grunts stand guard on every level with their Watchog, Liepard, Krokorok and Scraggy, around Level 33. Two interesting Pokémon live inside:

  • DruddigonDragon

    Druddigon, a pure Dragon, powerful as soon as you catch it. Fairly common on the ground floor.

  • GolettGroundGhost

    Golett, a Ground and Ghost golem, immune to Normal and Fighting attacks. It will become Golurk at Level 43.

Along the way, pick up the Dragon Fang on the third floor, the Star Piece on the fourth, on the third ring, and a Max Elixir on the fifth.

⚡The dragon awakens

At the summit, you arrive too late. N has awakened the legendary dragon and it has recognized him as its hero.

Noire

In Black, it is Zekrom, the black dragon of Ideals, that stands by N’s side. Your destiny will be bound to its rival, Reshiram.

Blanche

In White, it is Reshiram, the white dragon of Truth, that stands by N’s side. Your destiny will be bound to its rival, Zekrom.

N throws down a challenge: if he is the hero of the legend, you will have to find the other dragon to stop him. He flies off on the back of his Pokémon. At the foot of the tower, Alder finally joins you. He decides to go to Relic Castle with Cheren and you, in search of the stone that would hold the other dragon.
