Between Mahogany Town and Blackthorn City, there is only one way: a frozen cave where the floor slips away beneath your feet. You slide, bounce off the rocks, and start over. The Ice Path is the last obstacle before the city of dragons.

🌿Route 44

East of Mahogany Town, Route 44 runs alongside a large pond. Lickitung, Tangela and Weepinbell live in its grass, and several trainers are waiting for you. A Fisherman and a Bird Keeper will give you their numbers: rematches earn you Balls and Carbos.

🧊The Ice Path

In this cave, the sheets of ice make you slide in a straight line until the next obstacle. Take the time to study each room before you launch yourself.

  1. Ground floor: from the west entrance, slide to the ladder in the northeast. On the way, don’t miss HM07 Waterfall, lying between the rocks near that ladder.
  2. First basement level: with Strength, push the boulders into the holes in the floor. They fall to the level below and form a path there.
  3. Second basement level: thanks to the fallen boulders, the ice now has stopping points: make your way to the middle ladder.
  4. Third and fourth basement levels: short, easy passages. The last ladder takes you back to the ground floor, on the east side, a few steps from the exit.
