Giovanni has disappeared, and his Gym has found a new master: Blue, Red’s former rival and short-lived League Champion. He is waiting for you in Viridian City with the strongest team of all the Gym Leaders. This is the sixteenth and last Badge.

🏠Viridian City
The Trainer House is the ideal place to train: once a day, you can face a high-level virtual trainer there. His team is that of the last player you traded with via Mystery Gift. To the southwest of the town, near the pond, a man gives you TM42 Dream Eater (Cut or Surf required).

🏅Viridian Gym
The Gym has no trainers: Blue is waiting for you alone, and he does not specialize in any type. He lines up six varied Pokémon, between levels 54 and 58. A balanced, well-trained team is essential.

Pidgeot opens with Whirlwind (which forces your Pokémon to switch): Electric, Ice or Rock. Alakazam is the fastest: a powerful Dark or Ghost attack. Rhydon fears Water and Grass (quadruple damage). Gyarados cannot withstand Electric (quadruple damage). Exeggutor sets up Sunny Day to use Solar Beam without delay: Fire, Ice, Flying or Bug. Arcanine knows ExtremeSpeed, which always strikes first: Water, Rock and Ground.
Sixteen Badges. There is only one person left to see: Professor Oak, in Pallet Town, just to the south.
