At the lab, Professor Oak congratulates you: sixteen Badges, a feat no Trainer has accomplished in a very long time. He allows you to go to Mt. Silver, the forbidden mountain west of the League, reserved for exceptional Trainers.

After Mt. Moon, your rival is still training. You can find him on certain days at Indigo Plateau for repeated rematches, with a team of level 45 to 50: excellent training before the ultimate challenge.

🗻On the way to Mt. Silver

The path goes through Route 22, west of Viridian City, then through the guard gate that once led to the League. The guard now lets you take Route 28, heading west. Cut the bushes and follow the road to the foot of the mountain.
