🌰Kurt, the Poké Ball craftsman
In the northwest of town lives Kurt, an old craftsman who makes Poké Balls from Apricorns, fruits picked from certain trees. When you tell him about the Slowpoke, he jumps to his feet and rushes to the well to take on Team Rocket. Join him: the Grunt who guarded the entrance has fled, but Kurt hurt his back jumping into the well. It is up to you.
💧Slowpoke Well
Four Rocket Grunts guard the Slowpoke on the first basement. Their plan: cut off the Slowpoke’s tails to resell them at a high price, since Slowpoke Tail is considered a luxury delicacy. Their Pokémon (Rattata, Zubat, Ekans, Koffing) do not exceed level 14, but the last Grunt and his Koffing are the toughest.

Metapod and Kakuna only protect themselves with Harden: they are dangerous only because of Kakuna’s poison. Everything hinges on Scyther: Fury Cutter doubles in power with each successful hit, and Quick Attack strikes first. Hit it right away with a Fire or Flying move (Pidgeotto, Cyndaquil or Quilava), or knock it out with a Rock move. Chikorita, for its part, should stay warm.

As you leave by the west, toward Ilex Forest, your rival is waiting. He has only contempt for those Grunts, whom he considers weak and cowardly, and wants to prove to you that he is the strongest. His team has grown: Gastly, Zubat and his starter Pokémon, already evolved at level 16.
