In the Great Marsh, your Pokémon don’t battle: you only have a limited number of Safari Balls and bait, and a limited number of steps. Each encounter therefore comes down to luck… and to your preparation.
The marsh is split into six areas, linked by a tram. Some Pokémon live everywhere, others in a specific area, and one “occasional” Pokémon changes every day.
