Team Galactic’s bomb has drained Lake Valor of its water. The organization’s Commanders are attacking all three of Sinnoh’s lakes at once, and you can’t be everywhere. Start with the devastated lake, then rush to the one from your childhood.

💥Lake Valor
Fly to Pastoria City, then head to the Valor Lakefront via Route 213. The TV crew has gone, so the way to the lake is clear. The sight is striking. The lake is bone dry, Magikarp flop around in the mud, and Team Galactic grunts stand guard (Pokémon from level 31 to 37).
A cave opens in the middle of the lake. Inside, Commander Saturn is waiting for you: Team Galactic has just captured Azelf, the lake’s guardian.

Bronzor, Steel and Psychic, is tough: its Levitate Ability makes it immune to Ground, and Heatproof, on some, reduces Fire damage. Try a Fire, Ghost or Dark move.
Toxicroak, Poison and Fighting, fears Psychic above all (four times effective), then Flying and Ground. It holds a Sitrus Berry.
In Diamond and Pearl, Saturn opens with Kadabra, which is weak to Dark, Ghost and Bug moves. In Platinum, it is a Golbat, weak to Electric, Ice, Rock and Psychic.
Saturn runs away. Azelf, however, has already been taken away.

🏞️Lake Verity
Barry heads to Lake Acuity, in the north. You, fly to Twinleaf Town and take Route 201 west: Team Galactic has taken over Lake Verity, and Professor Rowan is already there.
Grunts wait for you in pairs: several Double Battles follow one another, with Pokémon from level 31 to 37. Go heal at your mom’s house if necessary: Twinleaf Town is just around the corner.
