On the wrist of every Sinnoh Trainer, the Pokétch takes over the DS touch screen. Clock, calculator, item radar, Berry or Day-Care checker: its twenty-five apps unlock throughout the adventure. Here is what each one does, and where to find it.
You receive the Pokétch in Jubilife City by bringing the President of the Pokétch Company the three Coupons hidden by clowns around the city (see step 3). It starts with four apps; the President adds more as you earn Badges.
To switch apps, tap the red button on the right of the touch screen. Tap it several times in a row to scroll faster.
⌚The essential apps
- Dowsing Machine (given by Dawn or Lucas on Route 207): tap the screen to reveal hidden items around you. It is the most rewarding app.
- Berry Searcher (Route 208, at the Berry Master’s house): a map of the ripe Berries in Sinnoh.
- Daycare Checker (Solaceon Town): your Pokémon at the Day Care and their level, without having to go there.
- Marking Map (three Badges): tracks roaming Pokémon, such as Mesprit and Cresselia.
- Move Tester (seven Badges): the effectiveness of a move type against any combination of types.
