North of Solaceon Town, Route 210 splits: its northern part, toward Celestic Town, is blocked by a group of Psyduck with headaches. You will have to turn east and brave the pouring rain of Route 215 to reach Veilstone City.

☕Southern Route 210 and the Café Cabin

The southern part of Route 210 winds through long grass where the Bicycle can’t go. Trainers are plentiful: Pokémon Breeders, Twins, a Farmer, and a few opponents for Double Battles. On the hill near the Honey Tree, a woman gives you TM51 Roost, which restores half of the user’s HP.

At the crossing with Route 215 stands the Café Cabin: you can battle three trainers there and buy Moomoo Milk (₽500), sold only here in Sinnoh. It restores 100 HP: an excellent, cheap healing item for the rest of your journey.

Farther north, Psyduck suffering from headaches block the way. You can’t make them move for now: keep heading east. You will come back with a remedy at step 20.

🌧️Route 215

It rains non-stop on this winding route: rain boosts Water-type moves and weakens Fire-type moves, including in battles against trainers. Several paths lead to Veilstone City; the detours let you gain experience and items.

  1. Before the second bridge, a Black Belt gives you TM66 Payback, which doubles in power if the opponent has already moved.
  2. With Cut, pick up TM34 Shock Wave, south of the large grassy area, and the Fist Plate, next to the Black Belt.
  3. Abra and Kadabra live in the tall grass, along with Ponyta and Geodude in Diamond and Pearl, or Scyther and Marill in Platinum.
