Ninety-two TMs and eight HMs: the fourth generation adds forty-two new Technical Machines, some of which will become classics, such as Earthquake, Stone Edge or Dragon Pulse. Here is where to find each of them in Diamond, Pearl and Platinum.

A reminder: in the fourth generation, a TM can only be used once, whereas an HM can be reused indefinitely. An HM move can only be forgotten with the Move Deleter in Canalave City.

The table lists every place to obtain each TM. A “Platinum” or “Diamond/Pearl” note marks a source specific to one version; with no note, the source exists in all three.
