X and Y turned breeding into child’s play, or nearly. With the Destiny Knot, five stats from the parents are passed on to the baby; with the Everstone, the Nature is guaranteed. Here is the complete method to get Pokémon with perfect stats, the right Nature, the right Ability and the right Poké Ball.
You will need: the Pokémon Day Care on Route 7, a Ditto from the Pokémon Village, the Destiny Knot from the coastal hotel in Cyllage City and the Everstone from Geosenge Town.
A perfect Pokémon, in breeder language, has 31 in the five or six IVs useful for its role, the suitable Nature and the right Ability. It is the foundation of competitive play.
