The sundial in Anistar City held one last secret: it can strengthen your Mega Ring. Once upgraded, it makes the Mega Stones hidden across the region shine, but only between 8 and 9 p.m.

🌞The upgraded Mega Ring
After your victory over your rival in Kiloude City, head to Anistar City. Professor Sycamore is waiting for you in front of the sundial and asks you to touch its crystal: your Mega Ring is strengthened. From now on, between 8 and 9 p.m., the Mega Stones that are still hidden glow on the ground and can be picked up.

- Alakazite: Reflection Cave, second basement, through the secret passage of TM74.
- Banettite: Chamber of Emptiness, a hidden cave on Route 22, reached with Surf and Waterfall.
- Garchompite: outside Victory Road, before the PP Up, with Rock Smash.
- Medichamite: Laverre City, in front of the well.
- Scizorite: Frost Cavern, behind the Abomasnow.
- Kangaskhanite: Glittering Cave, to the right of the first fork.
- Gyaradosite: Couriway Town, northeast of the hotel, in front of the three small waterfalls.
- Mawilite: Shabboneau Castle, on the first floor, between the left staircase and the wall.
- Manectite (X) and Houndoominite (Y): Route 16, near the rock where the Roller Skaters train.
- Pinsirite (X) and Heracronite (Y): Santalune Forest, in the first grass area to the north for the former, at the entrance for the latter.
- Tyranitarite (X) and Aggronite (Y): Cyllage City Gym, by climbing the wall opposite, then the one on the right, to the end of the path.
🎁Mega Stones received during the adventure
- Venusaurite, Charizardite X (in X), Charizardite Y (in Y) or Blastoisinite: given by Professor Sycamore with your Kanto Pokémon. The other two are sold at the Stone Emporium in Lumiose City, by a man near the counter: from 10,000 to 1,000,000 ₽ depending on your style.
- Lucarionite: with Korrina’s Lucario, at the Tower of Mastery.
- Aerodactylite: at the Fossil Lab in Ambrette Town.
- Ampharosite: in Azure Bay.
- Gengarite: in Laverre City, from a Hex Maniac.
- Abomasite: from the Abomasnow in Frost Cavern.
- Absolite: from your rival, in Kiloude City.
- Gardevoirite: with the Ralts traded by Diantha at Café Soleil.
- Mewtwonite X or Y: after catching Mewtwo.

🕵️The Looker Bureau
Once the Mega Ring is upgraded, a call on the Holo Caster invites you, when you return to Lumiose City, to a small house with a blue porch near Rouge Plaza, previously marked “for rent”: the Looker Bureau. Looker, whom players of Platinum and Black and White know well, introduces himself as a simple private detective and takes you on as his assistant.
Over the course of the investigations, you meet Emma, a street kid who lives with an Espurr she could never catch for lack of money. Looker takes her in at the bureau. But a mysterious masked figure, Essentia, stirs up trouble in Lumiose City, and the shadow of Xerosic, the former Team Flare scientist, looms over the case. Malva herself will lend you a hand.
