MawiliteShabboneau CastleThree thousand years ago, a king of Kalos built a machine to bring his Pokémon back to life, then turned it into a terrible weapon. Xerneas gives life, Yveltal takes it away, and Zygarde watches over the balance between the two.

From X and Y to Legends Z-ALumiose City five years later: what Pokémon Legends: Z-A owes to X and Y.
Lumiose City is modeled on Paris, with its Place de l'Étoile and its tower; the Chaydeuvre Palace draws on Versailles, Neuvartault on Fontainebleau, the standing stones of Geosenge Town on Carnac and Mozheim on Alsace. Junichi Masuda even came to Paris for the release of the games.

Black and White, Diamond, Pearl and Platinum, Gold, Silver and Crystal, Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald, and the whole series since Red and Blue.
Head to Unova →Both tell the same story. Pokémon X features Xerneas and gives Charizardite X to those who chose Charmander, while Pokémon Y features Yveltal and gives Charizardite Y. About a dozen wild Pokémon are exclusive to each version: Pinsir, Aron, Swirlix and Clauncher in X; Heracross, Larvitar, Spritzee and Skrelp in Y, for example. A few Mega Stones also differ.
454, split into three parts: the Central Pokédex (150), the Coastal Pokédex (153) and the Mountain Pokédex (151). At release it was the largest regional Pokédex in the series, with 72 new Pokémon and a great many Pokémon from earlier generations.
In Shalour City, after beating Korrina at her Gym, you receive the Mega Ring at the top of the Tower of Mastery, along with a Lucario and its Lucarionite. Each Pokémon involved must hold its own Mega Stone. After the League, Professor Sycamore upgrades the Mega Ring in Anistar City: the other stones then start to glow on the ground between 20h and 21h
Your version’s legendary (Xerneas in X, Yveltal in Y) is caught at Lv. 50 in Team Flare Secret HQ, beneath Geosenge Town, during the story. After the League, Zygarde waits at the bottom of Terminus Cave and Mewtwo in the Unknown Dungeon of Pokémon Village, both at Lv. 70.
