🐍Zygarde, in Terminus Cave

Remember the mine on Route 18, abandoned because of a “ghost”. After the League, the Trainer who was blocking the way steps aside. Go all the way down to the bottom of the cave: Zygarde is waiting for you there, at level 70, in its 50% Forme.

  • ZygardeNo. 70DragonGround

Zygarde, a Dragon and Ground type, the third member of the Kalos legendary trio alongside Xerneas and Yveltal. It watches over the balance of the ecosystem.

The bottom of the cave also hides the Adamant Orb, the Lustrous Orb and the Griseous Orb, at the end of three dead ends, along with a hidden Big Nugget.

🧬Mewtwo, in the Unknown Dungeon

In Pokémon Village, a man guarded the entrance to a cave until you became Champion. Surf over to it: the Unknown Dungeon has only one chamber, and Mewtwo stands right in the middle at level 70. It is a nod to Cerulean Cave in Kanto, which is also reached by Surf and guarded until the League.

  • MewtwoNo. 70Psychic

Mewtwo, a Psychic type able to Mega Evolve into Mega Mewtwo X (Psychic and Fighting) or Mega Mewtwo Y (Psychic).

After you catch it, a Mega Stone appears where it stood: Mewtwonite X in Pokémon X, Mewtwonite Y in Pokémon Y. To get the other one, you need to trade with the other version. An Oval Stone is also hidden on a stalagmite.

🦅The legendary bird of the Sea Spirit’s Den

The legendary bird that awaits you depends on the starter Pokémon you chose in Aquacorde Town:

As you travel, the bird appears in the tall grass of Kalos and immediately flees: it is a roaming Pokémon. After ten encounters, not counting its very first appearance, it stops roaming and settles in the Sea Spirit’s Den, the cave in the middle of Azure Bay. It then bursts out of the ceiling, at level 70.

Next step: Mega Stones and the Looker Bureau.
