🛼The roller skate rink

The Gym is a big skate ramp: you ride it on roller skates, going up and down the ramps. Korrina waits in the center, but no path leads there yet. With each Roller Skater you defeat, a piece of bridge forms toward the Gym Leader: beat them all to reach her.

Our strategy

Mienfoo (level 29) and Machoke (level 28) open with Power-Up Punch, which raises their Attack with every hit. A Flying, Psychic or Fairy attack takes care of them quickly.
Hawlucha (level 32), a Fighting and Flying type, is the real danger: it raises its Attack with Hone Claws, then strikes with Flying Press, which combines both types. It fears Electric, Ice, Psychic, Fairy and Flying. It is immune to Ground and resists Bug very well.

Korrina hands you the Rumble Badge and TM98 Power-Up Punch, then tells you to meet her at the summit of the Tower of Mastery.

💍The Mega Ring and Mega Lucario

At the top of the tower, Korrina gives you Gurkinn’s Mega Ring. Korrina has two Lucario, and one of them has bonded with you: she lends it to you for one last duel, Lucario against Lucario, each holding its Lucarionite.

Your Lucario faces hers, both at level 32. Touch the Mega Evolution button on the first turn: your Lucario becomes Mega Lucario, whose ability Adaptability further strengthens its Fighting and Steel moves.
This battle earns no experience or money, and losing has no consequences: you can try again.

After the duel, you can keep the Lucario that fought at your side, along with its Lucarionite. This is your first Mega Evolution, and a formidable attacker for the rest of the game.
