Rivière Walk follows a flowery river, like the Loire and its châteaux. With the Poké Flute, you can finally wake the Snorlax on the bridge, then discover the Day Care, the Battle Chateau and a Berry field all to yourself.

🎶Waking Snorlax
Back at the bridge with the Poké Flute, the Black Belt asks to play it himself and warns you: Snorlax will be in a bad mood. Save your game: this is your only chance to catch it before the League.
SnorlaxNo. 15NormalSnorlax, level 15. Put it to sleep or paralyze it, lower its HP with weak moves and throw Great Balls. If it faints or escapes, it returns to the bridge after each League victory, until you catch it.
Once Snorlax is defeated or caught, the owner of Parfum Palace arrives and, charmed by the melody, hands the Poké Flute over to the Black Belt.
🥚The Day Care and the Battle Chateau

Farther along, to the north of the route, stands the Battle Chateau. There you earn titles of nobility by chaining battles against other Trainers. On your first visit, the butler names you Baron or Baroness. Later, Gym Leaders will come to battle there. See our guide The Battle Chateau.
🍓The Berry Field
Between the first crossroads and the bridge, a path leads to the Berry Field. An old man and his granddaughter entrust it to you: you receive 5 Oran Berries, 5 Pecha Berries and a Sprinklotad to water them. Plant Berries in the plots: they multiply. Be careful, wild Pokémon sometimes hide in the Berry trees at harvest time.

🤝The Multi Battle
Just before the west part of the route, your rival is waiting for you and proposes a Multi Battle: you and him against Tierno and Trevor. You battle side by side, each with your own Pokémon.

Trevor sends out Pikachu and Flabébé (level 14), Tierno his Corphish (level 16), still a fan of Swords Dance. Focus your attacks on Corphish before it powers up, then finish off Pikachu: Flabébé is the most fragile. Your rival, with Fletchling and his starter at level 16, is an effective ally.
In the tall grass and flowers, Croagunk, Smeargle, Ducklett, Volbeat and Illumise make their appearance, along with Swirlix in X and Spritzee in Y. Hordes are made up of Hoppip, Psyduck or Roselia.
