⛏️Route 18, Vallée Étroite Way

As long as Team Flare was undefeated, workers blocked the exit from Anistar City on the pretext of filling in the tunnels dug by Durant. The route is now open: mine rails, abandoned mine carts and three entrances to Terminus Cave.

🌊Couriway Town

Couriway Town is Molsheim, in Alsace, with waterfalls inspired by those of the Hérisson. Water flows down from the hill in the east, runs through the town and heads off towards Anistar City.

  • The station: a Lady gives you TM89 U-turn, and a Rare Candy is waiting to the right of the benches. Check the bench on the right, facing the tracks: Professor Sycamore hid a time capsule there, with a message for his future self.
  • The Belvedere Hotel: a girl on the ground floor gives you TM55 Scald if you answer her question.
  • The house in the far south-west: a woman asks a quiz about Chespin, Fennekin or Froakie. Answer correctly and she gives you a Miracle Seed, a Charcoal or a Mystic Water.
  • Later, with HM05 Waterfall, TM80 Rock Slide is waiting at the top of the waterfall, in the far south-east.

Our strategy

Venusaur, Charizard and Blastoise, all at level 50.
Venusaur (Grass and Poison) is weak to Fire, Ice, Flying and Psychic. Charizard (Fire and Flying) takes four times the damage from Rock, and is also weak to Water and Electric. Blastoise is weak to Grass and Electric.
A good Electric Pokémon takes care of two of the three battles on its own. Your legendary Pokémon, Xerneas or Yveltal, does the rest.

Next step: Route 19, Route 20 and Pokémon Village.
