Lumiose City is the biggest city ever created in a Pokémon game: a tower where the Eiffel Tower would be, a star-shaped plaza, circular boulevards and avenues named after the seasons. It is Paris, Pokémon-style. Here is how to find your way around and what not to miss.
🗼Map of the city
- In the middle: the Centrico Plaza, star-shaped like the Place de l’Étoile, and the Prism Tower, home of Clemont’s Gym.
- Two circular boulevards: South Boulevard to the south, North Boulevard to the north.
- Four avenues, named after the seasons: Vernal and Estival in the south, Autumnal and Hibernal in the north.
- The color-coded sectors: Vert, Bleu, Magenta, Rouge and Jaune, each built around its own plaza, such as Magenta Plaza or Bleu Plaza.
- Five routes lead out of the city: a record for a central city.
On your first visit, a power outage limits access to South Boulevard and Vernal Avenue. The whole city opens up after the Kalos Power Plant: see Lumiose City, the City of Light in the walkthrough.
🚕Getting around
- Taxis drop you off in front of an address, for a few Poké Dollars. If you have no money, the driver challenges you to a battle.
- The Gogoat shuttles go around the city.
- Lumiose Station, on North Boulevard, takes you to Kiloude City by TMV after the Pokémon League.

- The two-star restaurant: tougher battles, Big Mushrooms.
- The three-star restaurant, after the Pokémon League: Double, Triple and Rotation Battles, up to 25 Balm Mushrooms.
- Sushi High Roller, near Rouge Plaza: after the Pokémon League, with a high enough style.
